Half-linen binding
A unique type of hardcover binding. Durable, sturdy, charming and comes back to the old traditional binding. The material used for the spine (usually cloth or decorative paper) differs from the material used for the front and back of the cover.
The book block in this binding can be either glued or sewn.
For additional visual and tactile effects, board with foam, i.e. padded cover, can be used creating a raised and “puffy” feel to the cover.
